Brexit update September 2021
The British government has a dedicated page on their website which provides detailed information and useful links regarding changes to legislation and necessary actions that British citizens need to take while residing in the Netherlands.
The most recent updates include updates to professional qualifications for British citizens who are moving or moved to the Netherlands after 1 January 2021 and those living there prior to 1 January 2021. There is also updated information pertaining to guidance on passports and travel, healthcare, and working and studying in the Netherlands.
The IND desk at Expat Centre Maastricht Region is available for appointments every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. They can provide advice and guidance for all internationals in the Maastricht Region and they offer the following immigration services on-site:
- Taking biometrics
- Providing residence endorsement stickers
- Issuing return visas
- Collecting residence permit or identity document for foreign nationals (Vreemdelingen Identiteitsbewijs, type W)
