Centre Céramique reopening

19 July 2022

An Expat Centre Maastricht Region Programme Partner, Centre Céramique, is Maastricht's most accessible and frequently visited cultural hub and is, as such, an inspiring and vibrant place to discover, meet, learn, share knowledge and be challenged.

In recent months, Centre Céramique has been renovated, redesigned, made more energy efficient and even more accessible. In this iconic and timeless building by well-known Dutch architect Jo Coenen, residents and visitors enjoy all the facilities of the city library, the different exhibitions and heritage collections throughout the building which tell the story of Maastricht as well as the newly relocated music school offering lessons and rehearsal space.

At the end of June the Centre Céramique team threw a 2 day celebration of performances, workshops, music and fun activities and invited everyone in the Maastricht Region to join in. Here’s a short aftermovie of the events to give you a taster of the unique character of the building and all the wonderful activities that take place there. Keep an eye on the Centre Céramqiue website to find out what is next on the agenda.
