YouRegion Welcome Event in Maastricht

Expats and internationals showed up in droves during our first in-person event for over eighteen months last week. We welcomed a large delegation from Aachen and groups were quickly teamed up with our resident local experts and headed out to explore the Sphinxkwartier. As the sun was setting we headed back into the Muziekgieterij for a drink, a welcome from the Mayor of Maastricht, Annemarie Penn-te Strake and an activity hosted by KCIS to raise our cultural awareness. A tasty bite was the next item on the agenda and the evening was rounded off with a few more drinks. We all left the evening with more friends and connections than when we started.
