Someone who knows all about this is Raoul van Dort, owner and director of Van Dort Letselschade, a legal practice in Maastricht that is specialised in assisting personal injury victims.
Raoul has written a book on the topic: Dikke Pech in het Buitenland (Bad Luck Abroad). His book is also available in German and English for non-Dutch speakers in the region. The version in English is a guide to personal injury in the Netherlands for non-residents of the Netherlands.
