Theater aan het Vrijthof opened in 1992 and continuously strives to play an important role in Maastricht and in the (Eu)region. Located in the heart of the city, at the well-known Vrijthof square, Theater aan het Vrijthof is the cultural hub for performances, concerts, and other activities that stimulate cultural debate. Our programs are not limited to our main stage. We also expand our shows to external stages such as AINSI, historical churches, and other locations within the Maastricht area.
